Technical lead

A concensus builder and servant leader with broad and deep technical proficiency who loves shipping software regularly.

"Theory and practice sometimes clash. And when that happens, theory loses. Every single time."

-Linus Torvalds

LinkORB Engineering is looking to expand our global team of 100% remote technology professionals and hiring for technical lead. This position offers flexible hours, accommodating both part-time and full-time candidates.

This leadership position plays a critical role in technical decision-making and execution across a technology stack centered on PHP/Symfony, Ubuntu Linux, Apache2, MySQL/MariaDB, and tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Ansible.

If you are looking for the below in your next role, please keep reading!

Creates, prioritizes, and monitors project plans and engineering work items through completion.

Anticipates, responds to, and resolves technical and business blockers raised by developers.

Maintains a healthy and positive engineering culture.

An ideal candidate for the Technical lead role is someone who:

Has at least 5 years of PHP software development experience

Has at least 2 years of experience managing software engineers

Has demonstrable technical project or product management experience
