Understand and apply basic Git concepts

At LinkORB, we use Git (and GitHub) everywhere for version control and collaboration. Getting familiar with Git is a fundamental requirement for most our roles, and this badge is a prerequisite for many other badges.

Earning Criteria:

  • 📝 knows how to use a web browser to navigate through the internet, open web pages, and use search engines to find information.
  • 📝 able to create, send, receive and reply to emails. They should be able to attach files to emails and use basic email etiquette.
  • 📝 be aware of online security risks and how to protect their personal information while using the internet. They should know how to create strong passwords, identify phishing scams, and use antivirus software.
  • 📝 know how to use cloud-based services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft OneDrive. They should be able to create, save and share documents, and collaborate with others in real-time.
