Communication is an essential skill for any team member. It is important to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with other team members, both in person and remotely.
Earning criteria
- english: able to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
- async: Async communication - be mindful of different timezones and schedules,
- written-communication: clear, to the point, concise
- question-formulation: Clear question formulation - detailed, accurate, and relevant descriptions of [context, what you tried, expected results, actual results]
- stay-unstuck: Asking questions when stuck or unclear
- ask-for-help: Be clear in stating when you do not know or understand something, or are missing information
- use-links-abundantly: Use links abundantly when referencing cards, PRs, topics, pages. They provide helpful context, make it quicker to process your message, and avoid misunderstanding or duplicate searching by others.
