LinkORB Engineering is looking to expand our global team of remote technology professionals and currently hiring for a data fixture engineer.
At LinkORB, the Data Fixture Engineer:
Writes and improves application data sets.
Carefully designs test scenarios that demonstrates or validates new and existing application features.
Defines and maintains user-personas; structured, reusable data sets that represent specific user types and user lifecycle behaviors used across multiple applications.
Publishes and maintains test data sets using git.
Reviews pull requests for fixture data written by collegues.
Reverse engineers applications and their database schemas to understand the data model, relationships and constraints.
Installs and configures applications and their dependencies in a development environment (we provide preconfigured GitHub CodeSpaces for this).
Documents their understanding of the application data model and data fixtures.
Engages and collaborates with the development and product teams to continuously improve the quality of application data sets
Helps to define standards and best practices for data fixture engineering.
An ideal candidate for the Data Fixture Engineer role is someone who:
Has demonstratable experience with fixture data engineering.
